Comments from the owner:
What do you love most about your home?
This is a very cosy house, I've called home for 7 years! It's a lovely peaceful place to come home to after a busy day in Central London for work. My happy place is the garden with a coffee while my son plays in his mud kitchen or paddling pool or having a quiet bbq in the evening with my husband. The kitchen is always the place we hang out in the most. Friends love to come & sit around the kitchen island & chat with food or have a glass of something. It's nice to be able to have somewhere to chill & some outdoor space. The upstairs is breezy & cool in the summer & warm in the winter, I still haven't figured out how!
Why are you moving?
Consolidating as we have other properties.
What do you love about the area?
There is a lovely café, called Affogato about an 8 minute walk towards the station - amazing hummus & bread! And another newer little gem called Woodland - very peaceful coffee shop with lovely cakes! As for the area, it's so much quieter than busier Streatham & Brixton nearby. We have everything we've needed here & the convenience of a 5 mins train to Balham & 17 mins to Victoria is convenient for those needing to commute. I can drive to Fulham, Crystal Palace or Wimbledon in 20 mins. SW16 is perfectly central in SW London. The local Forest School Nursery Growing Beans is such a happy place for tiny tots & highly recommended for young families! The local "Squirrel Park" is only round the corner for walks & runs. Norbury is a very happy, vibrant & friendly place to live - even my neighbours are lovely & take my Amazon parcels!
