Full description

Nested are delighted to offer this attractive one double bedroom first-floor apartment in this lovely Victorian terraced property. Arranged over three floors and with its own front door, it is offered with bright modern spacious rooms and comprises of a modern fitted kitchen with ample storage. The well-proportioned master bedroom offers views onto the gardens to the rear, while spacious living room looks out over Bravington Road - a dual aspect that is repeated throughout the property, ensuring the whole flat is light and bright throughout the day. This property is in good decorative condition throughout. Bravington Road is a quiet residential road that runs from the prestigious Queen's Park area to Maida Hill. On the doorstep, you will find an abundance of local shops and amenities and several local green spaces. Located within 10 minutes walk of Queens Park and 8 minutes walk of Westbourne Park underground stations, this flat is perfectly situated with its numerous transport links to central London and is also within a mile of Little Venice, Portobello and Paddington Rec. What do you love most about your property? The flat is very light and bright - morning sun in the living room, while the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen face west. With its dual aspect, there's good light whatever the time of day and even it winter that's maximised. Being split over three floors also gives a great sense of space and there's plenty of storage (including in the loft). I also really like the road itself - just off the bustle and convenience of Harrow Road yet very peaceful and quiet. Golborne Road and Portobello are within a 10-minute walk, as are the shops and cafes of Queen's Park and Kensal Rise not much further the other way. Everything you need is on your doorstep, while access to the rest of the city is quick and easy (both Queens Park and Westbourne Park tubes nearby, along with good bus routes and the overground at Kensal Green isn't far either). Why are you moving?  I've lived in and around this area since I first moved to London from NZ over 25 years ago. I love it. It has a huge amount of history for me, but after a few years of prevaricating, I've finally decided I'd like to experience living in another part of London. It will be a wrench, I'm sure, but it feels like it's the right time to do that. I'm sure I'll be back visiting friends and favourite shops all the time!  What do you love most about the area? Where to start? Portobello has a huge amount of iconic social and cultural history and I have always loved feeling part of that. I love the market (of course) and the general bustle and the way the area still manages to be so diverse - from the legendary Portuguese cafes and falafal trucks on Golborne Rd to the full luxe cinema experience at the Electric or the quirky indie vibe at the Lexi in nearby Kensal Rise. I love digging through the antique and bric-a-brac shops on Golborne, and Queen's Park and Kensal both have good cafes and independent shops (the Salusbury Winestore and deli became a favourite for lockdown treats!). There are loads of green spaces nearby and the Grand Union canal is practically on the doorstep - the walk from Westbourne Park to Primrose Hill via Little Venice and London Zoo is one of my favourite London walks and a great way to while away an afternoon.
