St Philip Street is located just off Queenstown Road and the property is ideally placed to enjoy the regeneration currently taking place at Battersea Power Station offering an abundance of restaurants and leisure facilities by the new American Embassy. Queenstown Road itself features many bars, restaurants and shops and is moments from both the open green spaces of Clapham Common and Battersea Park. Lavender Hill is also just a short walk away which adds to the number of bars, restaurants and amenities on this properties doorstep.

Clapham Junction, Queenstown Road and Battersea Park mainline stations are within close proximity of this stunning property so you can be in Victoria or Waterloo in just a few minutes and the house is within walking distance to the new Battersea Power Station Underground Station (Northern Line). The 137 bus route runs over Chelsea Bridge to Sloane Square, Knightsbridge and the West End.

Some words from the owners:

1. What do you love most about your home?
Almost twenty years ago we fell in love with the house (then without the additional dining space) due to the ceiling heights and natural light: it's also very spacious. With two pull out sofa beds (and 3 WC's), we've managed to host a family weekend for eight adults and also once had ten around the 'kitchen' table - albeit quite snug!
It has wonderful outdoor space to also use for entertaining, as well as providing great privacy when sunbathing. Generous storage on all floors, and a great (and easily accessible) attic space.
What has surprised us most is the sense of quiet (most unusual for London) and security. Most neighbouring residents are long term Peabody Trust tenants so there's a real sense of community and safeguarding the conservation area status.

2. Why are you moving?
We are hoping to retire imminently and want to start a new chapter of our lives beside the sea, so are Sussex bound.

3. What do you love about the area?
We are blessed by both vast green spaces and amazing transport links. Situated halfway between Battersea Park and Clapham Common you are spoiled for places to walk or exercise.
We are very fortunate to have 2 brand new (Northern Line) tube stations, Battersea Power Station and Nine Elms, as well as the overground trains at Queenstown Road, Battersea Park & Wandsworth Road stations nearby. Also, it's buses galore from Queenstown Road or Lavender Hill. The airports easily accessible by either tube from Knightsbridge to Heathrow or fast train from Clapham Junction to Gatwick. The nearest Zipcar is 30 metres away and a car electricity charging point 10 yards from the front door.
We are surrounded by quality bars and restaurants both mid-market and some more upscale - Clapham Old Town being easily walkable. Looking to shop? Sloane Square (20 mins) or Oxford Circus direct via the 137 bus plus a variety of handy local shops."
