We absolutely love the layout of the flat. It can be hard to come by a flat with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, both at either end of the property! This makes it a perfect set up for a lodger situation - we've rented out our spare room to a friend for a bit of extra income. Alternatively, you could use the spare room as a home office as the split-level really makes it feel like separate space. Our other favourite thing is the master bedroom. The bay window lets in so much light, and having en-suite is a fantastic addition!
We have just got married and so are looking to move to a bigger property which we can turn in to a family home.
Our favourite thing about the area is the proximity to both Brixton and Clapham. There are 3 tube stations (2 Northern line and 1 Victoria line) all within less than a 15-minute walk away. Being so close to both means we are spoilt for choice when it comes to great pubs/bars/restaurants. We are also never short of green spaces for a lunchtime run as we are close to both Clapham Common and Brockwell Park. Summertime is the best as we can be on the Common in less than 10 mins to meet friends for drinks and games in the sun. As two vegans, we must give a special shout-out to the awesome vegan restaurants in the area, namely: Blank (cafe) and En Root (Indian fusion restaurant).
