Comments from the owner:

What do you love most about your home?

The south-facing garden stole our hearts when we first came to view this house a few years ago. We moved here from a rented flat and to be able to enjoy a quiet garden in the middle of Earlsfield made a big difference to our day-to-day life. We love how warm and cozy the house is and its location really ticks all the boxes.

Why are you moving?

We've had our hearts set on country life for a while. When we recently found out that our dog's knee injury will most likely leave him with a not fully functioning leg for life and unable to run free in city parks, we accelerated the process and decided that we'd like to move to a place away from the city.

What do you love about the area?

First of all, there are so many local parks nearby that make this area really special. King's George's park and Wandsworth Common (both with tennis courts), Wimbledon Park, and our absolute favourite Wimbledon Common, especially since we got a dog (he loves the woodlands there!).

You never feel too far from anything you need here, while benefiting from a quiet home. Various transport links are within a walking distance (Earlsfield station, Wandsworth Town and Southfields stations, buses on Garratt Lane). Southside shopping center is nearby with the recently revamped cinema. There are many local pubs and cafes. We would take all our visitors out for a Sunday brunch at Hallowed Belly down Garratt Lane and to the Earlsfield Pub to enjoy live music (just next to the station). We love that our local GP is just around the corner, and when we first moved we appreciated the choice of schools when our daughter was at school age.
