What do you love most about your home?

We love the gated development, which is set well back and sheltered from nearby roads, creating a quiet environment with the added benefit of off-street secure car parking. The communal garden is well landscaped, attracts wildlife and gets direct sunlight at all times of the day which has been perfect for lunchtimes during lockdown and bbq's in the summer. The flat itself is in great working order with modern appliances and an excellent shower. The third bedroom has been a life-saver which we have converted into a spacious private office for working from home whilst still having a spare double bedroom.

Why are you moving?

We are expecting a new addition to be joining the family soon and we are looking for a bit more space closer to the grandparents.

What do you love about the area?

The location is great with everything on our doorstep. The river and Wandsworth park is only a 5 minute walk away which has a great atmosphere during the summer, whilst Richmond park and Wimbledon common are only short cycles away. There are loads of great restaurants, cafes and pubs in nearby Putney and on Old York Road, which is full of character especially after it became a pedestrianised street over lockdown. The Queen Adelaide pub is a great local with an awesome beer garden, only 1 minute walk away. It's also very well connected with bus routes into Clapham/Brixton at the end of the road and situated between district line and overground stations at East Putney and Wandsworth Town. It is even very close by to the Thames riverboat providing excellent transport links and commuting options. Shopping is also super convenient with a large Sainsburys and Waitrose located within the Southside shopping mall, including cinema and department stores, only a short walk away.
