What the Seller Says:
What do you love most about your home? The fireplace is the reason we wanted the house when we saw it, that and the red cedar ceiling. Very James Bond. But our favourite feature is the garden, its expansive presence seems to cosset you from the outside world. So much wildlife going on, and the many fruit trees supply us with pear, apple and damson (great for gin). We set our alarm an hour before we need to get up just to watch the day unfold. Our entire summers are spent sitting out there, or in the front watching the world go by.
Why are you moving? A new job in a new location gives us time to pursue new opportunities. Time to let someone else take full advantage and make the most of this amazing space & location.
What do you love about the area? The short walk to the Rookery, a local beauty spot and the woods and wide-open spaces. The Hideaway jazz club is like having Ronnie Scotts in your back yard with great food and cocktails. Access to central London is super easy to escape to and from!
