Full description

This spacious, first floor, one bedroom conversion flat within an elegant period building, a short walk from Tulse Hill station and the excellent amenities of Streatham Hill is available now through Nested. The property is presented in excellent order throughout and benefits from high ceilings and a modern kitchen and bathroom. The bedroom comfortably accommodates a large double bed plus bedside tables and a substantial wardrobe.

Tulse Hill station is 7 minutes walk; Streatham Hill 14 mins, for easy access into The City and West End via London Victoria, London Bridge and Thameslink services. There are direct bus routes to Brixton tube for the Victoria Line. Hillside Gardens and Brockwell Park are both close by. The shops and amenities of Norwood Road including the new library, Picture House Cinema and Leisure Centre and Streatham High Road are easily accessible. There are several pubs, coffee shops, restaurants, gyms, schools and supermarkets nearby and the villages of Herne Hill and Dulwich are in close proximity.

Some words from the owner:

What do I love most?
I love the really comfortable space in both the living room and bedroom, as well as the friendly neighbours, specifically in the building, who add to the feeling of home and security.

Why am I moving?
I'm looking to buy a house but will definitely try and stay in the local area.

What do I love about the area?
The transport links are perfect, particularly as I have now started to go back into the office. It is close to two stations that go to Victoria, Clapham Junction and London Bridge in 20mins or less. Despite the closeness to central London the street remains very quiet with a homely feel.

Streatham High Road has a brilliant and varied selection of shops, restaurants and bars with new ones opening seemingly weekly. The flat is also walking distance to Brockwell Park and Tooting Bec Common and all of their facilities.
