Comments from the Owner:
What do you love most about your home?
First and foremost we love our location, but we've also managed to extend the house to get just the right amount of space for our family of four.  Our back garden acts as a second living room throughout the warmer months, and is always quiet as it backs onto a pedestrian alleyway.
There is a genuine warmth among the residents of Gwalior Road's 23 houses, and a sense of community that has nothing to do with being like-minded or from similar backgrounds, rather just the feeling that we all live in a great street in a great location, and where being friendly with your neighbours comes with the territory.

Why are you moving?
We want to find a bigger house because we're going to bring elderly parents down from Manchester to live with us.

What do you love about the area?
We are 80m from The Jolly Gardeners, the perfect neighbourhood pub where they really do know our names and we only need order 'the usual'. We are also a two minute walk from Waitrose which is open late six days a week, and we're a six minute walk from Putney station.  For leisure walking we're also very lucky, with the Thames path five minutes away, as well as Putney and Barnes commons.  Although the High Street has suffered some decline in recent years there are still plenty of places for coffee, lunch or dinner ranging from Norwegian coffee to Vietnamese street food.  Our children are grown up now, but when they were small we were aware that we were in a very fortunate position for primary schools, with four highly rated schools within a short walk - actually five now!
