What do you love most about your home? For us, this has been a perfect hideaway, in a great location. The flat is small, but it is cosy, with good storage. We've also been fortunate to have great neighbours throughout our time here.
Why are you moving? We're only moving for our family to grow and very much hope to stay as nearby as possible.
What do you love about the area? The transport and Balham itself. For transport, Balham is on both the underground and overground (easy links to Waterloo, Victoria, Clapham Junction, Stockwell), and we're just a few minutes from the station. This makes visiting friends and attending events around London extremely easy. As an area itself, Balham has a friendly community vibe, with a great food (we're particular fans of Milk, Brickwood and Ciullosteria), fitness (Doghouse) and small shops scene. It is located between three commons, all walking distance - Wandsworth, Clapham and Tooting. For us, this has meant that everything is available within minutes - morning spinning, a last minute meal, Sunday brunch and park runs.
