What do you love most about your home/property?
It's a beautiful, historic red brick building and has always felt very safe. We have very high ceilings throughout which gives it a spacious feeling, lots of natural light, layout of the flat works really well and the spaces are quite versatile. The location within the building is great, it's first floor in the original part of the building and away from the main entrance with a close side entrance that gets you to the park quickly. It has a welcoming feel and somewhere that feels like a home as soon as you step in. We rented in the development for several years before having the opportunity to buy our lovely flat and jumped at the chance.

Why are you selling?
Honestly, it is a reluctant sale! We love our home, the location, and the building but are growing a business based in the South West of England so the move is driven by that.

What do you love about the area?
We chose Battersea Park initially due to the travel links and the park which has been fantastic with our Labrador. We have stayed in the area because of the real sense of community and the people. There is an incredible blend of traditional London like The Prince Albert pub by the park, somewhere we have become frequent regulars and they treat us like family, to the other side of the park with the new Battersea Power Station development which has really injected a vibrant feel. There are lots of independent shops and amazing delis that we pop into often and find there is so much in the area for all our visitors, whether it's friends coming from out of town or family. The new tube link from the Power Station is a very welcome addition too!
