Comments from the owner:

Top 3 things you love about your home

1. All of the rooms have a really light and airy feel - from both their size and the amount of
sunlight we get through the windows, particularly in the living room. This helps to make
the house feel homely and comfortable, even on the cloudier days. The added bonus of
the cellar means we have an abundance of storage space… and a workshop for personal
projects.

2. The private garden really is the jewel in the crown of this flat and is one of our biggest
loves of the property. In summer, it really comes in to its own, with the apple tree and the
flowers out in full display. We've had great success growing our own veg and have loved
having the space over the last few years, as our own private place to enjoy the outdoors and
practice our gardening skills.

3. Both bedrooms are quiet and comfortable environments, making them relaxing spaces
(and good for working in with the second bedroom / office)

Three things we love about the area.

1. The amount of green space and number of parks close to us here are one of the reasons
we love the area. Charlton Park, Maryon Wilson Animal Park, Oxleas Woods, Blackheath
and Greenwich Park are all within walking distance. These options, alongside the short
distance to the Thames, mean there are an abundance of wonderful outdoor spaces.

2. The local community here is great. The neighbours have really brought a community feel,
which has grown during lockdown and we have always been made to feel welcome.
Another great community asset is the local greengrocers run by Bee (who also offers a
delivery service) - he stocks local products (breads, buns, etc.) as well as amazing fruit and
veg and has just expanded to include a 'refill and reuse' section.

3. The close proximity to the station and great connections, plus the short bus ride to North
Greenwich, mean that it's super easy and fast to get into town - something that's been
important for us both working in Central London (and going out when we were allowed
to)
