What do you love about the property? We absolutely love our large south-facing balcony. We think that because it comes straight off the living area, it feels like a second room, especially in the warmer months. We are lucky enough to get the sunshine throughout the day due to the South facing aspect. We have made great use of this space and spent many lovely days and evenings on the private balcony - entertaining friends or simply enjoying the peace and quiet of the leafy street below. We also love how spacious the flat feels - with the open plan living area, generous sized bedrooms, and large hallway. The ample storage has also been a plus for us, particularly with a child, and we're particularly proud of our in-built bespoke shelving in one of the cupboards. We have some lovely neighbours and have loved making use of the large communal garden -great for children and dogs!
Why are you moving?
We are moving only to move closer to family outside of London.
What do you love about the area?
This quiet part of Camberwell has been an absolute joy to live in. We moved here in 2015 - living first on the beautiful Addington Square, not far from here - and haven't left since. It has everything you'd want from a local area - great pubs and independent restaurants that are within walking distance in Camberwell (the award-winning Camberwell Arms is a particular favourite). Lots of local cafes - including the fantastic Fowlds which we'll miss enormously - a minute away is the lovely Brunswick Park and 5 minutes down the road is Burgess Park, which also has tennis courts, table tennis, and a great park run that operates every Saturday.
The area is perfect for young professionals who will enjoy the eateries and pubs of Camberwell, or young families, with an incredibly vibrant and friendly community that has lots to offer children. Transport-wise, we're a 15-minute walk away from Oval and Denmark Hill Stations, or 10 minutes on the bus to Vauxhall and Elephant and Castle. We are also well served by numerous bus routes which run down Camberwell Road. As a cyclist, it's possible to be in central London in less than 30 minutes.

Camberwell Green itself offers regular Farmer's Markets, with Peckham Rye also nearby for a great selection of music venues and eateries.
