What do you love most about your home?

We love the courtyard just outside the flat, our cat used to be indoors only but it's safe enough and quiet enough for him to happily run around. The neighbours are friendly and it feels like an oasis of calm after being out in the bustle of Central London. The flat is south facing so the light is great in the flat all through the day. There's nothing nicer than getting up to make a coffee with the sun shining in through the windows.

The flat is compact but cosy, easy to maintain and keep warm in the winter. Having the 2nd room is great, we use it as an office/studio currently.

Why are you moving?

Our work and family circumstances have both changed dramatically in the last 6 months. Previously we needed to commute into London quickly and wanted to be close to all the possibilities Central London brings. Now our work is fully remote and we would like to be closer to family in the countryside.

What do you love about the area?

The location is excellent. The flat is moments from the amazing Burgess Park and an extensive bus network. We love playing tennis in the park and going for a coffee & cake at the Tennis Cafe afterwards. Louie Louie is our favourite restaurant on Walworth Rd, the same chef makes lunches for the Tennis Cafe opposite the flat and they are divine! There are two tube stations and one train station under 1km from the flat, Kennington Station and Elephant & Castle.
