Comments from the owner:
What do you love most about your home?
I love the uniqueness of our property - the versatility of the space and the combination of modern and original features. The front room-with its original wood-paneling, high ceilings and huge windows-and neighboring reception room, as well as the vast basement kitchen/diner and family room leading to the garden via a sunroom, means there is so much flexible living space. It's a great house for entertaining, and we have felt very fortunate to have so much adaptable working space during lockdown. There's also so much storage space, and it feels like we are yet to fully grow into the space available.
What do you love about the area?
It will be a huge wrench to leave the area. For us, it has been perfect - the outstanding primary school just around the corner and the proximity of the station means you can leave the house 2 minutes before you need to be at either! East Greenwich Pleasaunce is a real hidden gem - the cafe, playground and community center are a regular part of our lives. The house is also perfectly positioned near Greenwich Park, and both Greenwich and Blackheath Village, and we have the best neighbors!
