Comments from the Owner:

What do you love most about your home?
What makes the place special to us is the blend of contemporary decor and all the attractive features of a period property such as the high ceilings, bay windows and fireplaces. This gives a very unique look and feel to our home. We love how spacious the living room is and how the large windows let plenty of light in. We also enjoy the extra space provided by the loft, as it allows us to host family and friends whilst still keeping our privacy. There is plenty of space, both for storage and living. The rooms are very versatile: the office room can become an extra guest or children's bedroom, whilst the baby room upstairs can be turned into an office. Our favourite room is the main first floor bedroom: we love how large and bright it is, with the bay window overlooking the Garthorne Road Nature Reserve.

Why are you moving?
We are moving this soon because our financial situation has changed and we would like a house to host family members on a longer term basis.

Why do you love the area?
We love how well connected the area is, with Honor Oak Station on one end of the road and Forrest Hill on the other end. We walk to Crofton Park for trains into the city for work now that we are slowly going back into the office. There are also many green spaces within walking distance of the property. We often ride or walk with our baby to Peckham Rye, Blithe Hill or Hilly Fields. Mama Dough, Babur and Rise Cafe are our favourites that are just around the corner on the high street and between them are a variety of convenience stores. On Friday and Saturday evenings we pop next door to Brockley to hang out at L'Oculto Cocina or Parlez for a bite to eat. On Sundays we often walk to the top of One Tree Hill with our young one to enjoy the view of London.
