What do you love most about your home?
We most love how airy the space feels. We love how much light the flat receives, especially being on the top floor! The treelined view gives us a bit of privacy and views of wood pigeons in springtime. The balcony is especially nice during summers. We kept some of the decorative wooden floors that the previous owners have laid. There's also a sizeable office or storage space, which has been great for working from home. For commuting, it's been great too - as the station is 3-4 minutes away.
Why are you moving?
We are moving because we want to start a family and need bigger space.
What do you love about the area?
We are foodies so the area provided us with lots of opportunities to go out with friends and family. Queen's Road Peckham has the lovely Black Bird bakery (do great granolas and pumpkin spiced lattes during the autumn time!) and Kudu, as well as Beer Rebellion, the list goes on. Nunhead and Peckham High Street are close too - boasting a variety of cuisines, wineries and bars. If you are a gardener, the Nunhead Gardener gives you a great selection of unique plants too. We love that there are environmentally conscious grocers (BYO) nearby too. Camberwell is also close by, and great for nights out. It also has the famous Silk Road restaurant.
This bright and airy flat comprises a welcoming entrance hall with access to a useful study/storeroom, leading into the bright reception room with a wide double glazed window, ample space for relaxing and dining, and direct access out onto a sunny balcony. A doorway leads through from the reception room to the separate kitchen, comprising a range of matching units with work surfaces and metro-tiled splash-back, incorporating inset ceramic sink unit, gas hob with overhead extractor and electric oven, and further space for appliances. There is a spacious double bedroom with space for free-standing furniture, and a stylish bathroom with modern suite and elegant tiling. The property is superbly located within just a short walk of Queens Road Peckham station for fast and frequent overground connections into Central London, as well as numerous regular bus routes linking the surrounding area. The High Street is close by offering an array of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, as well as supermarkets and a Tesco Metro. The area is also well served by excellent
local schools and open spaces.
