What do you love most about your home? Think comfort, security, or that special feature/room that got you to buy it in the first place. Opening the front door, I fell in love with the fact I could see straight through to the garden and view the flowers - smelling their beautiful scent.

The morning and afternoon light shines straight through the house completely illuminating it making me feel warm, comforted and safe. My home has become a haven during the pandemic allowing me to work interchangeably throughout the open plan living space downstairs including the garden where the thankfully the broadband works equally efficiently allowing me to zoom clients effortlessly.

I love the fact my home is so easy to manage inside and out. Friends who come to dinner say it's like coming to a "boutique hotel". Being 5 mins walk from a train station that takes you into London Bridge in approximately 15 mins and "town" in as little as 25 mins is so helpful if you're working regularly in the area or spontaneously meeting up with friends for dinner or a show in the West End. Being able to walk out of the front door and immediately access numerous cafés, hairdresser, dry cleaner, park/playground, and mini-supermarket make living in my home more special.

What do you love about the area? Think about the specifics: that coffee shop where the barista knows your name; that particular part of your park right on your doorstep; that pub where you take all out-of-town visitors; that school that your children attend and the community that comes with it. It's like living in the countryside within a cosmopolitan City.

I was immediately drawn to the lusciousness of Lee Green with its abundance of green parks full of flowers, fresh coffee, farmers' markets, open-air cinema and open-air Lido. The area has it all - whether you're single, parents, a professional couple you can access a tonne of social activities to meet your needs and never have to leave the area.

People and businesses look after you in Lee Green: Christina will have your americano and croissant waiting before you hop on a train to work in Luciano's, Al is always on hand to cut your hair ready for that special occasion, Milk only 1 min away will have the most amazing sourdough sandwich waiting for you for brunch when you're working remotely and the Station Pub, at the end of the road is the focal point for most locals who either entertain friends in the gastro-restaurant, feed the family in the pub garden, or watch the footy/rugby on cinema screen at weekends.
