Comments from the owner:

What do you love most about your home?
When we first stepped into the hallway, we really enjoyed how spacious it felt. We had previously rented a Victorian conversion which was freezing in winter and had no storage space. Realising we could own a place with TWO hallway cupboards and underfloor heating was a huge bonus. We also love having a patio garden, sitting out on warm days and watching the river traffic at high tide.

What do you love about the area?
Transport connections for the property are great . We have Maze Hill train station for central London and Thameslink trains, North Greenwich tube station for the Jubilee line, a 15 minute riverside walk will take you to Greenwich for the DLR and the Thames Clipper, and of course cycling along the Thames Path and the Quietway to Central London. If you have North/East London friends and have stayed out too late, you can also Uber back home via the Blackwall Tunnel.

Located in walking distance of historic Greenwich, Blackheath village and Greenwich Peninsula, there is so much to do! We love the variety of all the independent restaurants on Trafalgar Road, especially Columbian pop-up Balboa, the Sunday Farmers Market in Blackheath and the many pubs and bars in and around Greenwich and Deptford. Our favourite is the Plume of Feathers, hidden away next to Greenwich Park and its amazing roasts. There are plenty of walking opportunities along the Thames Path and in nearby Greenwich Park, with it's incredible views over London from the Observatory, and we really appreciated access to these green spaces during lockdown.

We have loved that Greenwich is such a lively place; the live music scene, the party atmosphere on Trafalgar Road as London Marathon runners hit mile 6, the best view in London of the Tall Ships Festival and being able to sneak a peek at sound checks for Greenwich Music Time Festival, all the while being located in a peaceful area beside the Thames.
