Comments from the owners

What do you love most about your home?

Our house is bright due to plenty of big glass-based big windows and doors. There is a private patio which extends to a common garden, which is great if you have kids.In this prime area of GMV (Greenwich Millenium Village), this is one of the very few terraced houses which has its own backyard and permission to own pets. This is something unique to our house and is priceless.Apart from that, there are plenty of storage spaces which is very useful for the household. Examples are lofts attached to the ceilings of the living rooms and in the master bedroom. There is also a good-sized storage area below the staircase.

Why are you moving?

We love the house and owned it for about 7 years now. Unfortunately, our parents now have age related health problems and our children are getting older.  We are planning to move closer to our parents and preferably to a bigger house.

What do you love about the area?

The area is very convenient to live, travel and shop.   The famous O2 arena hosts events, houses cinema, many restaurants and pubs, Icon Outlet which has the designer shops.   The only IKEA in the city is in Greenwich and is walkable from the house.   3 big supermarkets i.e. Sainsburys, ASDA and ALDI are walkable and there is SEAWOO which is an oriental supermarket if you are interested to shop asian grocery. There are numerous shops such as Mothercare, B&Q, Screwfix, M&S, Matalan, Sportsdirect, Boots, JD, Decathlon, Superdrug located in and around the Greenwich shopping park.

We are at walking distance to Greenwich central library and leisure centre which has a swimming pool, gym etc.  GP Clinic and a pharmacy is situated a couple of streets away.   Outstanding primary schools are situated again just a few streets away. GMV (Greenwich Millenium Village) has an ecological park, a children′s playground and Thames river walkways just a few streets away.

Greenwich is a royal borough and has world renowned maritime museum and park which is about 20 minutes walk or accessible by bus. The park is one of the largest and has stunning gardens and a rich history that dates back to Roman times.   well connected to North Greenwich tube station and Greenwich town centre and all buses from the Greenwich Bus depot pass through GMV which implies good access to Greenwich neighborhoods such as Woolwich, Charlton, Kidbrooke, Thamesmead etc by buses.
