What do you love about your home?

Having a large office space and garden has helped us enjoy working from home during lockdown. We love the mid-century decor of our newly renovated living room. More recently we've renovated the bathroom and it's an excellent space for relaxation- our cat particularly loves the underfloor heating!

What do you love about the area?

The immediate location is in a quiet suburban enclave (the Ashburnham Triangle), with tree-lined streets and a thriving local community. The annual street party is particularly popular with families. It is situated in-between the vibrant Deptford high street, with its growing band of independent restaurants and bars, and Greenwich town centre with more established restaurants, food market and lovely royal park. We are particular fans of Marcella (as reviewed in the Guardian!) in Deptford and Peyton and Byrne in Greenwich. Throughout lockdown we have enjoyed the outside space afforded by the garden and exploring different parts of Greenwich Park such as the flower garden and picturesque wooded areas. Working from home has also allowed us to appreciate the excellent local butchers, fishmongers and cheese shop, close by.

Public transport links are also excellent, as we are within easy reach of Canary Wharf via the DLR, and also Central London / West End via Greenwich mainline station.
