What do you love most about your home?
We love the large sash windows throughout, the flat is South facing so we have light streaming into the flat at all times of the day which gives it a lovely bright feel. The open plan design also means you're not cut off in the kitchen which we love for entertaining.

What do you love about the area?
We didn't realise at first just how great a location the flat is in. We are spoilt for choice when it comes to lovely pubs and restaurants in both Greenwich and Blackheath. Our top picks for people new to the area are - Richard I a local's favourite with a cosy interior, The Cutty Sark for a great sunny spot overlooking the Thames, The Hare and Billet in Blackheath for the best Sunday Roast & The Pelton Arms for live music and a proper pub feel.

We're both runners, and love being only a few moments away from Blackheath Common and Greenwich park (the best park in London in our humble opinion) - in the summer we'll often head straight to the park as soon as we've finished work for a picnic dinner in the evening sunshine and a view over the Queen's house and the Thames. Royal Hill which has the loveliest of local butchers, greengrocers, fishmongers and cheese shop is just around the corner and Greenwich market is great for a bite to eat from the many market stall options at the weekend. For a change of scene, Deptford is also only a 10 minute walk for great cafes and bars along the buzzy railway arches.

The transport links are a definite bonus, we are a 10 minute walk to Deptford Bridge and Greenwich station where you can get a train to London Bridge in under 15 minutes or the DLR to Canary Wharf (15 mins) and Bank (30 mins). We are also only a 15 minute walk to Lewisham train station for trains into Waterloo and Charing Cross.

If you have a car the flat is perfectly positioned for escaping to the Kent coast at the weekends - you can reach Broadstairs and Whitstable in under an hour and a half.
