Comments from the owner:
What do you love most about your home?
The view is something that we never grew tired of in the years we have lived there. Looking out over the park and with the shard in full view it really defines London. The floor to ceiling glass makes it feel like the space flows outside. Having a huge master and a second bedroom that is as large as a lot of master bedrooms make it a really comfortable space to share. The open plan living room is perfect for entertaining, chilling or cooking a complex meal (with borough market ingredients of course…)
Why are you moving?
We have co-owned the flat as brothers since 2015, but have decided to sell and buy our own places. We'll be sad to leave the flat, but will likely buy close by as we love the area so much.
What do you love most about the area?
Bermondsey Street is an incredible pocket of London. We overlook the beautiful Tanner st park where tennis courts can be rented for free, the gorgeous pique-nique restaurant (tucked in the corner of the park) is an amazing place to sit for Sunday brunch and people/puppy watch. Watch house cafe is an absolute favourite (the Bermondsey St original is our favourite) and the baristas definitely know us by name! Maltby Street market is an infamous spot for foodies and is the place to go for a hungover cheese toastie, or a glass of wine on a summer evening. We've wiled away many an evening in the Woolpack pub, which is an absolute neighbourhood staple.
