What do you love most about your home?
It's a gorgeous layout with so much room and unusual amount of storage space. We fell in love when we walked in, every room was flooded with light even on the greyest day, thanks to the floor to ceiling windows in every room. The flat is fitted with high spec appliances (SMEG and Blanco) and very well kitted out, including air filtration system, digital meter to track heating bills and the fasted broadband we've had - fibre to premise BT. With only 8 flats in our block we know our neighbours very well and its a close knit community.
Why are you moving?
Our family is growing with a dog and an under 1 year old baby. With both sides of the family living abroad we are looking to upgrade to a 3-4 bedroom to be able to have our families over.
What do you love about the area?
We live right bang in the middle of a vibrant community. It especially became clear to us during the pandemic, where even the wider community knows each other on a first name basis. There are amazing local businesses sprinkled on Church Street and Blackstock road. Our favourite coffee shops are Finks and Hourglass just 2 minutes away, Clarence Tavern and Bank of Friendship have beautiful beer gardens. We are spoilt for choice whether it's Spence Bakery for their delicious egg cress n mayo, Good Egg for brunch or the numerous boutique shops like Search n Rescue, Gathering Moss, Ollie Loves Alfie etc for those Sunday strolls. Clissold Park is the best! Dog and kid friendly with loads of stuff to do for adults too! We love the brand new tennis courts and spend quite a few weekends there, they even have deer and goats. The water reservoir and the adjacent nature reserve is a 5 minute walk as well.
