We love a lot about this flat: it has generous windows with excellent light throughout. One side of the flat is south facing, overlooking a green courtyard containing beautiful large trees with foliage at the height of our windows. On the other, we look out north over the Parkland Walk towards Alexandra Palace. The surroundings are green and peaceful. The layout is well organised with good sized rooms and lots of storage and we really enjoy the cork floor throughout, providing a warm surface to walk on and unifying the rooms.

The flat is in the middle of lots of great places. Immediately, it is the best of two worlds: the surroundings are very green and quiet with lots of mature trees, yet we are right on Stroud Green Road with an excellent range of pubs, restaurants and independent shops. Some of our favourites include The Brave Sir Robin - our local with an amazing selection of beers; Butler's Deli, always stocked with delicious ingredients; the brilliant fruit and veg shops; and the famous and delicious Max's Sandwich Shop which is just around the corner.

The Parkland Walk is directly outside our main entrance door with Finsbury Park a 15-minute walk in one direction and Highgate Wood a 30-minute walk in the other. Crouch End village is a 10-minute walk to the north with lots of boutique shops and cafés.

In terms of public transport, we have three very good connections. Directly next to us we have Crouch Hill, 15 minutes walk to the south is Finsbury Park and Archway station is 20 minutes walk away too. Mainly though we cycle and Central London, Hackney and Tottenham are all just 30 minutes away.
