Comments from the owner:
What do you love most about your home? The well-proportioned rooms, the high ceilings and the big kitchen, which leads straight out to the lovely, tranquil garden. It's a flat that feels like a house, with its own front door and a huge basement that's used for storage, music, work, exercise and still has space for plenty of wine. Having a second bedroom which was big enough to be both an office and spare room and is now a nursery containing an ever-increasing number of toys has been great as well.
Why are you moving? We're hoping to grow the family, which means we need a bit more space and would like to be closer to our other relations.
What do you love about the area? So much! Vins and Primeur would be worth traveling a long way for if they weren't round the corner, there are too many great cafes, pubs and delis to mention around Newington Green and Highbury Corner, whilst for green space (and little people), the New River Walk towards Angel, Highbury Fields, and Clissold Park are all fantastic. We're seconds away from the Overground, which means Shoreditch, Hampstead Heath, and Westfield Stratford all feel like they're on the doorstep too. Commuting to the City takes me less than 15 minutes on a bike, whilst Oxford Circus is little more than that via the Victoria line.
