Full description

This stunning one bedroom apartment has an open plan configuration with defined areas creating a sociable yet practicable space. With three windows spanning the width of the reception, offering a Westerly aspect over New River Path the apartment is incredibly bright and quiet, feeling more like you are out in the countryside than central London. The room also has further space for a study area which overlooks the internal courtyard.

The upper floor of the property is home to a double bedroom and bathroom and a small outside area which isn't within the property demise however the owners use to sit out on a summers day.

The property has excellent transport links, serviced by Canonbury Station ( overground ) or Highbury & Islington ( Victoria line & Overground) within a short walk.

Some words from the owner:

What do you love most about your home/property?
The view on the park and the absence of any road with traffic on both sides of the flat is a rarity in London, and makes the place peaceful. Sitting on the couch and watching the seasons change through the windows is a real plus in such a central location! And accessing the flat through a private street meant that we have been able to unofficially get two outdoor spaces for us to use, by the front of the flat and on the rooftop on sunny days.

Why are you selling?
This flat was my project and I have loved it, however we are now looking for another bedroom and something to buy together.

What do you love about the area?
This is such a great area and we are not thinking about leaving too far from this neighbourhood. Everything is on the doorstep, from amazing parks (Clissold, Highbury Fields), to the restaurants of Upper Street, going out in Dalston or strolling to the canal by Angel/De Beauvoir. The pubs are amazing, with the Marquess and the Scolt Head being favourites for Sunday roast, though we have loved walking to Newington Green to get fresh vegetables and go to the butcher to cook our own.
