What do you love most about your home/property?

There is so much I love about this flat. With windows on both sides of the property, the flat always feels bright and airy all day long. The flat is a great size for a 2 bedroom with amble storage in the kitchen, under the stairs and fitted wardrobes in both bedrooms. I really enjoy cooking and have recently replaced the cooker and dishwasher for the top rated by Which best buy. It's such a lovely place to cook and host dinner parties.
The star of the show for me is definitely the terrace which I had decked earlier this year. It gets full sun from midday until sunset and is a fantastic sun trap. It has been a real pleasure to live here. I have also updated features such as USB plugs in all rooms, Nest wireless thermostat heating and air-con in the master bedroom, and a new Vaillant boiler that was installed in 2021.
Also, despite being so central, the flat is in a surprisingly quiet area and there is plenty of street parking available, discounted with a residents permit.

Why are you selling?

Me and my partner are moving in together so are selling both of our flats to upgrade to a house.

What do you love about the area?

Honestly, there is nothing not to love about the area. There are fantastic cafes and bars and huge variety of cuisines on your doorstep. There are also two cinemas including Vue and Screen on the Green only a 10 minutes walk from the flat. The canal is only a stones throw walk away which has a fantastic buzz in the warmer months is a lovely walk into Hackney, or the opposite way to Kings Cross. Exmouth Market is also only 15 minutes walk away which has a lovely selection of restaurants including Morito and Caravan.
I have lived here for 12 years, and have always felt extremely safe. There are many 24 hour bus routes 2 minutes walk away, and the convenience of local shops at the end of the street. I have absolutely loved living here, and think it will always hold some of my best memories.
