Comments from the owner:
What do you love most about your home? We love the open-plan upstairs area, it gets light from both ends of the house but is also wonderfully cosy in the evenings. It's the perfect space for entertaining, watching movies and sports, cooking, and relaxing. The large bedroom gets loads of light and we use it for an office and music room, and the other bedroom we've used as a calming space for sleeping. The garden has been an absolute joy as well with morning sunshine to enjoy breakfast and coffee in the garden, and when it has been really warm, it's nice in the shade and breeze. The built-in benches and storage allow us to relax and have friends over for bbq's, and I've even worked from home on the table out there many days in the summer!
Why are you moving? We honestly can't really believe we're moving, we love this home and area so much. But all our friends are south of the river now, and we've decided to go for a larger home and follow the crowd so we can have our friends and family around more often again.
What do you love about the area? Everything! The pubs nearby (Drapers Arms, Smokehouse, Crown, Three Johns), the coffee shops (Southpaw!), the restaurants - everything from high end to cheap eats, the fact that you are only a few steps away from the heart of Barnsbury or the bustle of Chapel Market and centre of Angel, the ability to walk to the City and Oxford Street. Even the corner shop is owned by a lovely family and is like having an extension of your pantry a few feet away.
