Comments from the owner:

What do you love most about your home? I love living in this bright, spacious, contemporary flat. With its floor-to-ceiling windows you have the choice to watch the hustle and bustle of the world go by at the front of the flat, or enjoy the quiet view of the clouds at the back where the flat has the London luxury of looking out over open space. Located on the first-floor in a building of friendly neighbours, it feels like a secure space to live on my own - and buses that stop right outside the door mean I never worry about coming home in the dark. The ceiling heating means the flat stays toasty warm in the winter, and the wide-opening windows allow it to be full of air in the summer.

Why are you moving? I've found my dream countryside property for a whole new lifestyle, otherwise there's no way I'd be giving this gem of a London flat up. I can't imagine anywhere else I would rather live in London - it's simply that after 10 happy years in the city, it's time for me to have a change.

What do you love about the area? This flat is just minutes from the heart of Dalston where there are endless local pubs, cafes, shops, restaurants, and world class jazz clubs like Cafe Oto to discover - oh, and the Arcola theatre, which is one of my absolute favourites. Also just a short walk and you're at the canal where you can wander by the water, visit Broadway Market, or stop for a coffee in one of the waterside cafes. Oven-fired pizzas at Sweet Tuesday just around the corner are a weekday treat, or stop on the way to the canal for Sunday brunch at the local neighbourhood delicatessen. Transport links are a dream: 5 mins walk to the overground train at Dalston Junction or Dalston Kingsland. Alternatively, hop on a bus from outside the door for a 40 min scenic journey straight into the heart of London (Covent Garden, Oxford Street, Southbank), or for a few stops up to the underground at Angel or Highbury and Islington where you can get on the tube for a super fast journey into town.
