Current owner comments:
What do you love most about your home? We love the bright, airy feel to the flat. With large windows on both sides we get lots of natural daylight both in the morning and the afternoon. In addition, the thick outer walls ensure it's cozy in the winter and cool in the summer. One of the best features is the excellent storage, having 3 full height cupboards to keep our things in. We underestimated how valuable that space was when we were looking to buy.
Why are you moving? My husband bought a Classic car which needs maintenance, so we are moving further out of the city for a property with an attached garage. Unfortunately, the excellent on-street parking is no longer viable.
What do you love about the area? The flat is in an amazing location, with excellent transport links (tube, bus, coach, river bus, rail, access to airports) all within walking distance. St. James Park, the Thames and the Tate Britain are just a stroll away, with some quieter parks and squares closer by. Local shops, small supermarkets, grocery stores, pubs, excellent restaurants and cafes including the famous Regency Café are all just around the corner. Alternatively, you can walk 10-15 mins for a larger selection in Victoria or Vauxhall. Considering it is in a Zone 1 location, the area is very quiet with a strong local community, whilst still having all the amenities of a central location. Our neighbours are lovely, many have all lived in the building for many years (decades).
