St. Bernards church right next door, which is a lovely community centre, with choir singing on Sunday evenings.
5 mins walk away if the Hackney Downs park and Hackney Downs studio
The Shacklewell arms is at the bottom of the street.
There is a row of lovely independent of shops on Shacklewell Lane, 1 min walk away that covers everything.

What's the area like?
Dalston Highstreet is a bustling metropolitan area and has everything you'll need. There is a lot of green spaces around also, Hackney Downs is on your doorstep, plus Hackney Marshes 15 mins walk away.
There is also a small pocket of shops on Shacklewell Lane and next to Hackney Down Studios.

What is parking like?
