VENDORS COMMENTS

What do you love most about your home?
The best thing about my flat is the light it gets and the view of the trees from the park right next door. It is so peaceful and quiet. Although it feels like I'm not in a big city because of that, I am in easy reach of great things like cafes around Mile End, Roman Road and Victoria Park. Additionally, I love that I'm on the top floor and the soundproofing is truly the best I've ever had in a flat. In terms of the St Clements development, it really feels like a warm and welcoming community. The neighbours always look out for one another and we have genuinely made friends with the people in our block over the last few years.

Why are you moving?
I'm really sad to be leaving the flat, but my partner and I are getting married next year and the new puppy is growing up too so she needs a bit more space!

What do you love about the area?
The Tower Hamlets cemetery park that the flat backs onto is really lovely all year long, so it's great to have that on our back doorstep to supplement the shared gardens inside the development. My typical morning is to go for a walk around the cemetery, head up to the Italian coffee shop just by Mile End station for a coffee and some pastries, and then walk back to start my day. On the weekends, there are great cafés on Roman Road and Victoria Park is in close walking distance for us. There are also some great pubs in the area like The Coborn (great pub quiz), Morgan Arms (a lovely Sunday roast), or Rusty Bike (for Thai food and watching sport).
