What do you love most about your home? The apartment is cosy, bright and airy with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has two lovely balconies, one of which is a sun-trap. The advantages of living in an apartment on the 8th floor has its benefits. The views are fantastic! I have a double aspect view - one looking towards Canary Wharf and the Emirates cable cars and the other towards City Airport. It is pretty special. At night, it's difficult to tell whether you are living in New York or Hong Kong!

Why are you moving? I am moving because I would like to return to the suburbs outside of London.

What do you love about the area? Royal Wharf is a friendly residential area with beautiful riverside walks. The area has excellent transport links, eg. 4 mins to City Airport (DLR Pontoon Dock), 5 mins to Canary Wharf (Jubilee Line, Canning Town) and 8 mins to Liverpool Street (Custom House, Crossrail).

It has brand new facilities such as The Windjammer (Fuller's pub and restaurant), Starbucks coffee shop, a pharmacy, a dental practice, a nail bar and a world class 25,000 sq-ft clubhouse which has a state of the art 25m swimming pool and gym. There is also a new creche and a school along with a community hub. The local park (Thames Barrier) is 2 minutes walk away.

As a Riverside Community Royal Wharf has many commercial spaces that will hold new independent restaurants, bars and cafes in the near future.

There is also a concierge area which has an internal post room for residence. The complex is pretty safe as security guards patrol the area frequently.
