Comments from the owner:
What do you love most about your home? I love how quiet our home is. The windows are essentially noise-proof meaning any cars that go by can't be heard. The walls and ceilings are similarly sound insulated so we never hear the neighbours meaning our time at home is always peaceful and never disturbed. Besides this, we also really love the general standard of finish. The flat is relatively new so everything just works as it should. Finally, the concierge service means we feel very safe and our parcels and packages are always collected and never lost.
What do you love about the area? The sheer choice of restaurants in the area for foodies is a real joy. The Box Park opening up a short walk from the flat essentially doubled the restaurant choices overnight. Now we can either go out on dates or order food to the flat and the variety is incredible: We regularly enjoy a variety of international cuisine at home and out. When eating out there are some particularly high-quality Italian restaurants including Bagattis and Ponte Nuovo that we have enjoyed returning to for years. Besides the food choices, we also enjoy how well connected Croydon is. East Croydon station is certainly a hub and from there you can get to Victoria, London Bridge or St Pancras International within twenty minutes. Even closer to the flat is West Croydon rail and overground which is useful for visiting North London and some of the smaller stops on the way. Croydon is also a stop for the Gatwick express meaning getting to the airport can be done in fifteen minutes! Finally, the area is excellent for proximity to quality shops and retail as we have two shopping centres as well as an equally choice-rich high street all of which is a very short walk from The Island flats.
