We love Beckenham Place park. It starts at the end of the road and once you make your way through the woods to the main park there is lots going on. Outdoor swimming/kayak/paddle boarding lake, a café, a bar, record shop and lots of pleasant outdoor space. We have walked through the park and out the other side into Beckenham for Lunch which like Beckenham has some great bars and restaurants (and other stations which we use regularly for alternative routes into London).

Bromley Court hotel a 3-minute walk away with really nice gardens. Have spent many summer nights there for a quiet drink and something to eat. They are extremely friendly and have always been very welcoming with our toddler too so is a great local place to spend some time.

We also love how quiet it is here yet so close to Bromley. Not many places with a BR1 post code as quiet as this. This is why there is no appetite with the other residents to tarmac it.
