What do you love most about your home/property?
The high ceilings and half stairs make it feel spacious, dynamic and interesting. We had so many dinner parties over the years and the flat fits plenty of guests comfortably. It's incredibly quiet given its central location. We made the top floor room into a cinema/reading room as it feels so cosy up there. I remember walking in the flat for the first time after seeing 100s of unimpressive properties and nearly giving up buying and fell in love straight away. It's a very unique place which was the backdrop of incredibly happy years at the start of our marriage.

Why are you selling?
We moved away before having children and have been renting out ever since. We recently started an extension project at our main property and want to sell the flat to help finance it and turn it into our dream family home.

What do you love about the area?
There's a beautiful outdoor coffee shop culture in the area, the Estrela bar and restaurant 100 yards away has people eating outside all year round. The walks by the riverside both for pleasure as well as to get to work are such a privilege. There's a bouldering wall nearby, more than one 24h gym within walking distance and countless gastro pubs and restaurants. One of the owners is Brazilian, so we felt at home with so many Portuguese and Brazilian people and products in the shops and cafes in the area. We used to enjoy walks around the nearby park, and even started playing tennis there in the summer months. Finally we felt privileged that we lived close enough to iconic houses of Parliament and Big Ben that we could walk to them, and sometimes we'd walk all the way to the East end of the South Bank, taking in all it's vibe and views.
