What do you love most about your home?
Despite living in zone two in a vibrant part of London, the flat is the calmest, quietest flat I've lived in London - I can walk in and switch off from London life, it's an oasis. Being ground floor and looking out onto a courtyard full of plants is absolutely wonderful- I was completely drawn to the garden flat feel and the serene nature of the flat when I viewed it. I've completely renovated the flat and have tried to use colours and themes that compliment and enhance the very special feel of the flat.

Why are you moving?
We want to upsize and move closer to family in the countryside. Our jobs are not fully London based anymore so it makes sense to move to an area in between offices for better commuting balance.

What do you love about the area?
Battersea Park is 30 seconds from the front door and it is my absolute favourite park in London. I adore early mornings walks as the mist rises off the lake - it does not feel like big city living. The area has always been leafy and vibrant but with the addition of the Power Station development close by it really is one of the best places to be in London. Wonderful restaurants, cafes (Nostos and The Farmers Mistress on Battersea Park Road are a must visit) and shops with more to come and of course a brand new Northern Line Tube adding to the already good transport links. Within a 10 minute walk there are two train stations, the riverboat and a tube station. Battersea is increasingly becoming 'the' place to live in London and I will be very sad to leave.
