What do you love most about your home?
Our apartment is in a unique position with picturesque views overlooking the creek and church on either side. With the apartment being on the top floor and end of the development this offers complete privacy and a truly luxurious feeling. We also find with the apartment being split level spanning over two floors offers all the benefits of a house in the comfort of a high end apartment setting. Our approach to design has been very considered throughout creating spaces and pockets that make day to day life very enjoyable, whilst also ensuring that we both worked from home in complete comfort. We were blown away by our apartment when we first saw it and have loved living here.
What do you love about the area?
- The architecture and views of Greenwich are unparalleled in London, its unique setting overlooking the Thames with the Naval College and Royal park are some of the best places to spend your time. We also love the ever changing landscape of new restaurants and shops popping up and around the renowned market. It's very peaceful being next to the Thames and creek, which offer a complete contrast to our previous experiences of London living near busier roads.
- Deptford brings its own charm and vibe, coffee shops, bakeries and cocktail bars are rife, some of which have a cult following where people travel all across London to enjoy, Bread and Butler being our favourite.
- It's unbelievably easy to travel into the city and other parts of London, the national rail train is a blessing and will place you into the City in 10 mins, whilst the DLR offers a great alternative and the stops are fantastic for central and east London. Best of all has to be the 6 minute train into London Bridge, this opens up an opportunity to get anywhere very easily. We feel we've benefitted from all the perks of being within Zone 2, yet with the remarkable benefits of living in one of London's most famous and acclaimed neighbourhoods. We love Greenwich and wouldn't hesitate to live here again in the future.
