What do you love most about your home? Being on the top floor means the living room, kitchen and main bedroom are full of light. On a sunny day, with the sash window open in the bedroom, you can watch squirrels and birds in the tall trees across the way. It's really quiet and peaceful in that room. The second bedroom is good for working in now when we're both home. The flat has a big loft for storage. The garden is big and comes to life in Spring. There's a shed you get a key to. Our neighbours are lovely, we stop and chat and there's a definite feeling of community amongst us.

Why are you moving? With 2 young kids we want to be near grandparents. We absolutely love it here and we're really sad to be moving.

What do you love about the area? Being right opposite the entrance to Crystal Palace Park is a one of the best things about living here. You walk through the park to get to the Crystal Palace Triangle at the weekend, with its lovely second hand furniture shops and bonanza of cafes and restaurants- 500 rabbits pizza, urban orient Vietnamese and blackbird bakery are a few choice favourites. There's also the Brown & Green Park cafe (excellent cakes & breakfast) with its venue for yoga and baby groups above plus there's a Sunday farmer's market. Being close to a few train stations is really handy- Sydenham, Penge West & East and (in summer when you can access via the park) Crystal Palace Stations are all walking distance and take you to diff lines. Dulwich wood and its nearby Woodman pub make a great nearby Sunday outing. Sydenham high street has a really nice feel to it and a lovely bookshop, a few cafes and useful hardware shops, banks and a post office.
