Full description
A beautifully presented two double-bedroom upper-floor maisonette, offering 921 sq. ft. of well-designed living space across the second and third floors of a charming period conversion. Recently refreshed, the property features a brand-new bathroom suite and has been newly painted.
The first floor welcomes you with a spacious and light-filled reception room, enhanced by two south-facing sash windows that bathe the space in natural sunlight. Adjacent to the reception is a separate kitchen, complete with a large sash window overlooking the garden. The newly installed bathroom, finished to a high standard, completes this level.
The second floor comprises two generously sized double bedrooms, both offering excellent storage solutions. Additional loft space provides even more storage flexibility, ideal for keeping the living areas clutter-free.
The property also benefits from a walled garden, accessible from the first-floor communal landing and shared with just one other apartment, offering a peaceful retreat for outdoor relaxation.
Perfectly situated in a highly sought-after area of north-east London, just off Holloway Road, the maisonette enjoys close proximity to the vibrant amenities of Holloway and Finsbury Park. Excellent transport links are within easy reach, including the Piccadilly and Victoria Underground lines at Finsbury Park station. Families will also value the nearby selection of highly-rated Ofsted schools.
Owners insights:
What do you love most about your home?
We love that the flat is a peaceful haven. The living room is beautiful and light. There is a lovely view across the gardens from the kitchen The garden is nice to sit in in the summer. The views from the top floor extend from the Shard in the south to Highgate in the North. With the Northern, Piccadilly and Victoria tube lines so close and lots of buses the transport links are fantastic.
Why are you moving?
Since Covid we no longer work in London as much and are relocating to the south-west.
What do you love about the area?
We can be in Finsbury Park within fifteen minutes' walk and Hampstead Heath via the back streets within half an hour. Ten minutes on the bus and we're in the middle of Crouch End for an evening out. This area is up and coming with beautiful established trees and a community garden on Sussex Way. We love our friendly neighbourhood and the handy Tollington Stores opposite, Jolenes cafe for coffees on Sundays, great pubs like the Landseer Arms and that we can easily walk to Morrisons and Waitrose.
