Owners insights.
What do you love most about your home?
We love living here because it is has such a unique, comfy feel created by the high ceilings and period features - like the bespoke 3 metre sash window opening from the bedroom into the garden. The garden is gorgeous - we looked at lots of garden flats and this one was so much more private, sunny and welcoming to spend time in than any others we saw. The car park space is really useful for us, visitors and to earn extra income. We love being in a busy part of London with everything on our doorstep and having a quiet, spacious home that feels like an oasis to come in to.
Why are you selling?
We are selling because we have grown our family and need a home that fits 2 children as well as us.
What do you love about the area?
Our flat has everything in a 10 minute walk. We're spoilt for choice of supermarkets on the doorstep as well as the award-winning local fruit and veg guys on the corner of Severn Sisters and fresh fish in Nags Head Market. The Swimmer, our local, has a friendly landlady - Layla. There's heaps of places to eat in walking distance: Western's Laundry, Big Jo, Zia Lucia...Green Room cafe serves great coffee and cakes at Brocoli are delicious. Bread by Bike does amazing food and delivers to our door. Highbury Fields and Finsbury Park are great options for sunny days. And there's the little, pretty community space at Penn Road Gardens.
The flat is really well connected. You can get to central London in 20 minutes and transport links to the major airports are easy. There's bus routes and a proper cycle lane on the doorstep and a range of tube and train options including the overground which is a really pleasant way to travel.
