A few words from the owner:
What do you love most about your home/property?
The ridiculously high ceilings and the original features of the property really made us fall in the love with this flat; in particular the beautiful large bay window and ceiling rose in the bedroom. It is also so rare to find a one-bedroom flat that is so spacious and has so much built in storage space, to the extent we have our own mini utility room. The flat is also finished to a high-spec and so is ready to move into with no work needed doing. Having a private, south facing garden with no neighbours backing onto you was a massive plus, it is like having your own little oasis in North London and makes the property even bigger. Despite being between two main roads, Thane Villas is the most peaceful road I've ever lived on.
Why are you selling?
Leaving this property will be a heartbreaking moment, but we are looking to start a family and therefore need to make the next step up and buy a house. That said, the flat is large enough to have a baby in should you so wish.
What do you love about the area?
When buying this property we were naïve to what an amazing location this is. Being so centrally located, you are in walking distance to Finsbury Park, Stroud Green, Crouch End, Highbury, Stoke Newington, Highgate, Holloway, Camden, Angel, Hampstead Heath, and I could go on! You have so many public transport options on your doorstep, while if you're a cyclist it is even better. You have every amenity you could need within walking distance (vast array of shops, two street food markets, multiple sports facilities) and the best concentration of pubs in North London to chose from. We will truly miss the community feel, the vibrancy and the diversity the area has to offer, as well as the vast amount of green space for such a central location (Woodberry Downs is a must visit).
