What do you love about your home? The open main space layout is perfect for entertaining guests. We've had so many great dinners here.  It also works really well with young kids -- it's great to not have to worry about stair gates and to be able to have enough space for adults to chat while kids can play. The balcony has also been a lifesaver during lockdown. It gets wonderful light. Early morning and in the evening it's bathed in sunshine with gorgeous views -- perfect for breakfast and an evening drink on warm days. During the day it's mostly shaded, which means you can work out there on a laptop among the birds. Finally the shared garden is a lovely combination of manicured lawn at the front and wilderness at the back. It's very quiet and peaceful down there, and some of the other building residents are putting a lot of effort into developing it at the moment. We're sorry to leave before the herb garden takes off.

What's best about the location?  It's easy walking distance to both Highgate and Crouch End so super easy for transport links. There are also incredible green spaces. This flat has not one but four major parks/woods nearby: Queen's Wood, Waterlow Park, Hampstead Heath and Highgate Wood. Each has its own character: Queen's Wood is ancient and wild, Waterlow Park is beautifully kept, Hampstead Heath is massive with amazing views; and friends with kids happily come from all around North London to meet us at Highgate Wood because it has such an amazing playground and a great café.  Finally, there are exceptionally good schools, both private and state.
