Comments from the owner:
What do you love most about your home?
We love the light in the living area, it changes throughout the day and the year. There is a green view from almost every window. The property feels very spacious and is super practical with a downstairs toilet and plenty of storage. We always call it a house because with our own front door, back garden, and split level living you'd be hard pushed to not to. The community of the court is also something we love - there's a WhatApp group and always someone at hand for any questions or problems. Especially when I accidentally lost my wedding ring down the outside drain and it was successfully retrieved!
Why are you moving?
We love the little pocket of Upper Holloway so we're not wanting to stray far, but with a growing family we feel the time is right to get a little more space. Due to the nature of our jobs, it also means we need a larger than normal work from home space (like a studio) so it feels the right time to be thinking about sizing up for us.
What do you love about the area?
Food, pubs, groceries and green space, there is something for everyone. We love the little pocket of Upper Holloway, tucked between Finsbury Park and Archway with both tube stations providing amazing transport links. We love stroud green and walking into crouch end. The local pubs are top notch and dare we say, we're regulars! The Landseer is the perfect family pub, with a park opposite. The Shafetsbury Tavern has friendly staff and we've spent many milestones in there. We love to shop local, with a pick of Organic groceries, delicatessens and bakeries to choose from. Big Jo and the coffee roasters next door are a must on a Sunday!
The property is extremely well connected being less than a 10min walk to Archway tube station, Upper Holloway Overground and many buses into the centre of London. The buzzing villages of Crouch End, Stroud Green, Tufnell Park and Highgate Village are also within easy reach offering an array of shops, cafes and boutique shops, with further amenities. The lovely open spaces of the Parkland Walk are also close-by as well as beautiful Waterlow Park and slightly further afield, Hampstead Heath.
