Full description
Since the current owners bought the property in 2010 they have had the time to carefully think of every aspect of the property to enhance the enjoyment of living there.
The side return added in 2018 transforms the kitchen to offer a breakfast bar, dining area and space for a desk (for those working from home), which is one of the main draws to the property.
In turn, it leads to the south-facing garden allowing a lot of natural light into the space and further benefits from all your everyday mod cons.
The living room with a large bay window and original fireplace with wooden floors is charming and ideal for relaxing.
Also on the ground floor, there is a separate utility and storage cupboard for the items you use most often.
On the first floor, there is the master bedroom, a good-sized double second bedroom and a bathroom.
The master bedroom has built-in wardrobes that were added in 2020 offering ample space for clothes for a couple, also the room is large enough for a separate chest of drawers and an armchair.
The south facing garden is unique for the area as it overlooks a disused railway line that is now used as an allotment which gives you a sense of calm and tranquillity as is not overlooked or close to a neighbouring garden.
There is a large attic space for your less used items allowing the house not to be cluttered, in addition to this there is a precedent on the road (and in both neighbouring properties) for a potential rear dormer extension.
A new roof including all the rafters and supports was done in 2016.
The property is in excellent condition both inside and out.
Current Owners;
We've loved living here. We spend most of our time at the breakfast bar and love the space and light from the garden.
We both work from home sometimes and have been able to fit in separate desks to work in comfort.
The proximity to the centre of London is great and we both cycle to work there as much as we can.
The street is very friendly and we get on well with both neighbours (who are very quiet and respectful!).
Locally there are great pubs and restaurants nearby and lots more a short hop away in Stoke Newington and Dalston.
We'll be very sad to move on from this house!
Location;
The house is surrounded by the local amenities on West Green Road, with a mix of independent shops alongside Sainsbury's and a large Tesco on Seven Sisters Road.
The ever-changing area has seen a deli called Pasero open and two Gastro Pubs, True Craft and The Palm all offering great places to eat and drink.
Downhills Park is less than a five-minute walk away, with tennis courts open to the public, a Cafe that hosts events all year round, and generally a great place for a walk or run.
Transport;
Seven Sisters Underground Station on the Victoria Line is a short walk away with quick routes to central London, the West End, and beyond.
Seven Sisters Overground Station is ideal for a quick line to Liverpool Street and for the Stanstead Express.
There are also a lot of bus routes nearby taking you all over London.
Ideal for young families and those looking to upsize.
An early viewing is highly recommended.
