Some words from the owner:
What do you love most about your home/property?
There is so much I love about this flat. The south facing living room and kitchen gets beautiful light all day, which makes it a lovely space to spend time in. The flat is a great size for a 1 bedroom with lots of opportunities for storage. One little room I love is the utilities room tucked next to the kitchen, great for using the fridge and washing machine, leaving the kitchen to be more visually aligned and pleasing. The flat is economical to heat as it retains the heat very well. The road is beautiful, with friendly and quiet neighbours. It is such a joy to live here.
Why are you selling?
My friendship group and lifestyle has evolved to being located in east London, so I spend my weekends over there a lot with my volunteering and running, so with some inheritance coming my way I saw it as an opportunity to move closer to that area.
What do you love about the area?
The area is like a village inside a city, there is a great cafe culture with Jolene, Belle Époque, Trade, pophams and more within walking distance. The walk to upper street is visually beautiful and calm whether you choose the new river walk route or the beautiful south canonbury streets. you are never short of a good roast dinner on a Sunday with the award winning Alma at the end of the road as just one of the many choices. You are a short walk to upper street and Essex road with boutique shops. whether you want to go north, east, south, or west, from here you are well connected. I regularly walk to Coal Drops Yard in Kings X in 40 mins through Barnsbury. If you are into wellness, again you are surrounded by so much choice from Third Space luxury gym to boutique yoga studios. A morning commute into the west end can either be via the bus in about 40-45 mins or the Victoria line in 25 minutes. Parking on this road is always available, it is never a chore for you or your guests to find a spot. Visitor parking can be purchased via the ring go app, making it very accessible, especially for short notice visits. I run a lot and go out after dark for a lot of runs and always feel very safe. The same can be said for getting home via public transport late at night.
