Full description
A beautifully presented one-bedroom apartment with its own private entrance and outdoor space, set within a charming period conversion just moments from Shoreditch Park and Regent's Canal.
Purchased by the current owner in 2016, the property has since been thoughtfully renovated to a high standard, featuring a new kitchen, bathroom, fitted wardrobes and new windows. The garden has also been landscaped to create a low maintenance area to enjoy.
Owners Insights:
WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR HOME?
I love the lounge, especially how it opens onto my low-maintenance garden. In the summer, the garden gets sunlight from late morning through the afternoon, creating a beautiful flow of natural light into the lounge. The property also has a wonderful balance: it stays cool during the summer but feels incredibly cozy in the winter. The layout works perfectly for my needs and has been such a joy to live in.
WHY ARE YOU SELLING?
I've absolutely loved living here since I bought and refurbished the property. The only reason I'm considering moving is that I'd like to have a second bedroom to accommodate visitors. If I could create that extra space here, I wouldn't even think of leaving!
WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR AREA?
The area is exceptional. I love taking walks along the canal to Upper Street and enjoying everything Islington has to offer right on my doorstep. The transport links are fantastic, with Angel, Highbury & Islington, and Old Street stations all close by, making it ideal for commuting—especially if you work in the City.
There are some incredible bakeries nearby, including Quince, Pophams, and Sourdough Sophia's on Essex Road, as well as great local butchers and fishmongers. Shoreditch Park is just steps away, providing a perfect outdoor space, especially in the summer. Bobo & Wild, overlooking the park, serves fantastic food and coffee that's a favorite among locals. The Britannia Leisure Centre is also just a short walk away.
One of the things I truly love about the area is how connected it is. Within 20 minutes, you can walk to an incredible variety of restaurants in Shoreditch, Old Street, Angel, Dalston, and beyond. You're truly spoiled for choice here.
