What do you love about the property?
We have loved living in this maisonette on Hide Road. It has been a wonderful first home for us. It is
remarkably spacious, bright and airy. We initially fell in love with the large living room, where we
have spent many evenings and weekends relaxing and entertaining.
Given the two-floor layout of the property, it has never felt cramped, especially when we have
recently both been working from home. The option of having an extra bedroom has allowed us to
develop a small home office, as well as being used to have friends and family to stay in the past.
Why are you moving?
As a junior doctor, we often find ourselves moving hospital throughout our training. Our move is
therefore partly being undertaken in order to accommodate a new position in East London. We are
also moving to start our own family nearer to our respective families.
What do you love about the area?
Harrow must be London's hidden transport hub! Within walking distance (under 20 minutes) from
the property, one can get to three tube stations - Harrow On The Hill, Harrow and Wealdstone and
West Harrow. Not only does that give you the option of the Metropolitan Line but also the Bakerloo
Line, London Overground and an extremely fast overground service to London Euston. Getting into
town for work or entertainment has never been a hassle! Furthermore, the property is within easy
reach of the A40, M4 and M25.
Cunningham Park is a 2-3 minute walk away from the property and offers a plethora of outdoor
space, tennis courts, outdoor gym and a lovely cafe. There are plenty of child-friendly parks and
beautiful walks around the local area. The gorgeous Ruislip Woods is also short drive from the
Locally, you can enjoy a great brunch at The Dollhouse Cafe or a pub lunch/dinner at The Castle. The

Hide Road itself is a quiet and tranquil road. During lockdown, a real sense of community spirit has
flourished between neighbours. The burgeoning local WhatsApp group has seen genuine acts of
kindness, generosity and creativity.
