What do you love most about your home/property?
The stunning views and the natural light. From the first visit, I knew it was the right place for me. I took the time to renovate it, updating the kitchen and adding a bathroom with a full wall mirror that makes the space feel more open. The upgraded walk-in closet and bookshelf help keep everything organized and I also replaced all lighting fixtures to make it modern and cosy. The transition to WFH during covid was very easy with the lovely views and balcony, still making it a great place to work as well as live in. Thanks to the supportive community in Vanguard House; it's nice to feel connected to my neighbours.
Why are you selling?
I'm selling because I need more space for my family. My mom is living abroad right now, but she'll be moving in with me soon, so I need an extra room to accommodate her and I have already found a place to move to.
What do you love about the area?
What I love about the area is its vibrant atmosphere and convenience. London Fields is moments away just a short walk to the overground stations past coffee shops and cafes, there is also Hackney Central high street with all the shops I could ever need. Of course, I enjoy visiting Popham and Lardo, my go-to spots for great food, and Pub in the Park is perfect for catching games with friends. For dog lovers, the community is fantastic, with plenty of green spaces like Victoria Park, Hackney Downs, and Haggerston Park offering great spots for walks. It's a lively neighbourhood with something for everyone!
